Build a Bot Workshop

We’re back and we’re bringing you another super-cool new venue & some more awesome new talks!

We won’t be reinventing the wheel, so expect some more networking with other JS-heroes, some top-notch refreshments (🍕🍻☕) and some awesome new talks to experience!

We’ll be announcing the full line-up of speakers in the coming weeks, however, I can announce our first talk, which will be by Daniel Sutton, titled - "Build a Bot Workshop".

This is a meetup for anyone who has an interest in JavaScript, whether you've just started learning, or you're a certified JS veteran – so please ask any questions you may have following the talks, sometimes the debates afterwards unearth a completely new point of view or an area to explore further in future!

And our friends at BJSS will be hosting the evening. We’ve visited their offices and they have a super-cool space for the meetup (they’re literally 2 minutes walk from Temple Meads!).

Here is a quick rundown of what to expect on the night;

• Feel free to arrive from 6:30pm
• There will be refreshments available (food, soft drinks & alcoholic drinks), all free of charge thanks to our hosts & sponsors. It's a great opportunity to meet some new people and do a bit of networking!
• Around 7pm, we'll do a quick welcome and will then begin the talks from the real specialists! (both with time allotted afterwards for questions & discussions)
• The evening will draw to a close around 9pm, when some people will head over to the Left Handed Giant, should you want to continue the evening!

We’ve really enjoyed the events we have put on over the last couple of months and your positive feedback after the events has been amazing! Southwest.js is just getting started, so we look forward to seeing you at this event.

Our speakers give up their own personal time to prepare their talk & deliver it on the night, so please be respectful throughout by keeping any conversations to a minimum & refrain from being on your mobile phone.
