SR2 is recruiting multiple Java Tech Leads for a large policing project currently in flight. My client is migrating a monolith system to new microservices and architecture and requires several Tech Leads to oversee different development feature teams.

We're looking for out-and-out Tech Leads with experience managing large feature teams, guiding technical outcomes, owning tech debt and driving tech delivery standards.

You must already have active SC to be able to apply - the client cannot put people through SC unfortunately.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the performance of developers
• Own tech debt and be responsible for iteratively reducing the backlog
• Drive consensus with other tech leads in project/account to establish high-tech delivery standards
• Understand business requirements and intentions, and translate them into high-level tech implementation
• Be the active focus of the scrum team(s) to guide and manage technical outcomes

Experience required:

• SC clearance
• Proven leadership experience as a Tech Lead, managing multiple developers and supporting in strategy, as well as hands on development
• Recent hands on development experience with Java
• Java / Spring Boot / AWS
