SC Cleared Data Architect - 3 Months (Extensions will be granted) - Outside IR35 - Hybrid

SR2 is looking for a contract Data Architect to join a consultancy on a large government transformation programme.

The project in question involves the build of a new data office, changes to architectural structure, cloud and tooling optimisation and other workstreams.

We are looking for strong Data Architects with proven consulting experience in government. Due to the nature of the roles, candidates will require active SC clearance.

Experience required:

• Active SC clearance
  * Data Architect experience 10 years +
  * Proven consulting experience within government
  * Excellent stakeholder management skills and able to "own a problem"
  * Cloud and tooling optimisation experience
• Experience with Apache (Iceberg or Hudi)
• Experience with NoSQL Databases
• Kafka/Real-time Streaming
• Experience in Hadoop
• Expert in Python, Java and Scala

This is an urgent role that offers a long-term rolling contract.
