A leading consultancy has engaged SR2 to build a brand new team for a Government project. This project is a multi-year engagement so poses a great opportunity for someone to come on board for 2+ years.

This role will focus on evaluating and validating third-party implementations of Azure solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring all deployments adhere to best practices, including the Azure Well-Architected Framework, CAF, and security industry standards for cost optimisation, compliance, and operational excellence.

You'll work closely with internal teams alongside third-party vendors to verify that the solutions being built are secure by design, using IaC, and align with cost-optimisation strategies.

Experience

• Previous experience reviewing and assessing third-party Azure cloud solutions and implementations.
• Security and compliance auditing
• IaC Verification
• CI/CD pipeline evaluation
• Cost optimisation

Technical Skills

• Azure
• IaC (ARM, Terraform, Bicep)
• CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
• Deep knowledge of Azure services (VMs, ACR, AKS, VNETs etc)
• Azure Cost Management/Azure Advisor

This role will be outside IR35, remote, and paying circa £500p/d.
