DEAOSP Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION
One of my key clients are looking for an AOSP Engineer for a 6 month contract to deliver a project for one of their key customers. This role is outside IR35 and will be largely remote with some occasional travel to Bristol (1-2 times a month).
Interviews can be arranged next week, and ideally the successful candidate will be able to start in the next 2 weeks.
Key Skills:
- Experience in Android OS and driver development, the Android build system and source code; such as, but not limited to, Android Auto and audio streaming devices.
- Experience in Java, Kotlin and C.
- Understanding of Android OS architecture, including Linux programming.
- Experience in designing and implementing remote MDM or OTA update solutions.
- Background in working on non-phone hardware running Android, with direct involvement in altering drivers and OS components.
