Service Desk Supervisor | Outside IR35

SR2 has partnered with a not-for-profit organisation on a short-term Service Desk Supervisor role to help support with internal capacity demand. The initial contract will be up to 3 months and will require a few days on-site on a weekly basis.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Service Desk, supporting the Infrastructure manager to ensure all resources are in place to meet SLA's.

During this initial period, you'll be tasked to ensure the strategy and the execution aligns with the goals and objectives set and employees are contributing towards this. Furthermore, general team guidance is expected to ensure that the 1st and 2nd line engineers are supported and tickets are actioned in an appropriate and timely manner.

Skills/Experience

  • Previous experience operating at a Service Desk Supervisor level
  • Experience managing high workloads
  • Ticket support and allocation
  • Team management
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to travel on-site.

This will be up to 3 months, outside IR35 and with fairly open rates. Due to the nature of the role, we will require any applicants to travel to the Cardiff area 2 days per week.
