The Role

The team are a leading tech start up looking to further revolutionise its industry with their products. With the technical team currently at 20+ made up of developers, product managers, QA and designers which is due to expand to 35 heads+ as they integrate two teams.

You will join this team as a Software Engineer at an exciting time to embark on an exciting new SaaS platform utilising cutting-edge technologies… You will assist with the build of a platform with some of the brightest and most passionate individuals in the tech world.

You will take the lead in building new features and products - building REST API's. Currently, the legacy stuff is in PHP Laravel however you will get the opportunity to learn Golang as they have migrated to this and plan to build this platform utilising this too. They will teach you this as you go - you just have to be fluent in PHP Laravel to apply. You will be a passionate problem solver with a keen eye for detail and a thirst for knowledge in the development space. They utilise a modern architecture - utilising AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform and Automated suites to deploy the software.

You will have strong software engineering knowledge and be fluent with software engineering principles such as SOLID. You will care about the code that you create - ensuring that it is scalable and extendable.
