Machine Learning Engineer | Outside IR35 | Hybrid

Role Title: ML Engineer
Ideal Start Date: 10th December 2023
Contract Length: 12 weeks (not including Christmas)
Inside/Outside IR35: Outside

The Life Sciences team is engaged in a data mining project from scientific papers, particularly focused on LLM. The team has successfully developed a proof of concept showcasing the extraction of valuable insights. Currently, they are in a transitional phase, providing guidance to the client on potential next steps, including the possibility of a full-scale build of the MVP solution.

Role Profile:

• Understanding of the full machine learning lifecycle, including deploying models using frameworks like Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Familiarity with core probability and statistics concepts, along with common supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.
• Software Engineering experience, particularly in Python.
• Technical expertise in cloud architecture, security, deployment, and open-source tools, with hands-on experience on at least one major cloud platform.
• Demonstrable experience with containers, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
• Comfortable operating in a high-growth startup environment.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Excitement about a dynamic role with autonomy, taking ownership of problems from conception to execution.
• Knowledge of or interest in retail-focused solutions, especially those related to understanding consumer behaviors.
