Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and SC Cleared AWS Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Data Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining data solutions on AWS.
Main Responsibilities:
AWS Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in working with various AWS services and tools to design, implement, and manage data solutions.
Security Clearance: Hold and maintain SC Clearance, ensuring compliance with security protocols and regulations.
Programming Skills: Utilize strong programming skills in Python or SQL for data analysis, manipulation, and transformation.
Streaming Technologies: Experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka Streaming or Apache Flink to process and analyze real-time data.
Prior Knowledge:
GDS Experience: Previous experience working with the Government Digital Service (GDS) is highly desirable.
Cloud Environment: Knowledge of working in a cloud environment, with expertise in either AWS or Azure.
Qualifications and Skills:
- SC Clearance is mandatory for this role.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on AWS.
- Strong programming skills in Python or SQL.
- Experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka Streaming or Apache Flink.
- Familiarity with GDS processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of working in a cloud environment, preferably AWS or Azure.
