Lead Fullstack Developer || Outside IR35 || Remote

SR2 has been engaged by a leading consultancy to help scale a multi-disciplinary team in line with a brand-new multi-year commercial agreement.
The role is supporting a National Healthcare Initiative as they deliver a critical digital project to lay the foundations for a strategic technology function throughout the UK.
The project will adopt the GDS and Cabinet Office DDaT frameworks, leading projects from discovery to go live. You should be a great communicator used to leading teams and facilitating workshops in an Agile working environment. You should have strong knowledge of how projects and products are delivered to Government Digital Services (GDS) standards.
The important aspect to this role is that you will have extensive experience in the public sector on large-scale digital programmes.

Skill/Experience:
Experience managing projects from discovery through to implementation.
You will have experience managing or mentoring teams.
Delivery of software in various programming languages, mainly Python and JavaScript.
Software deployment across multiple cloud platfroms - (AWS, Azure).
You will be working with both technical and non technical people within the team to ensure that software meets functional and non-functional criteria.
Experience delivering code and infrastructure as code.
Overseeing software engineering across multiple projects.
Experience working in Agile teams with Architects on large and small piece of work and projects.
Liasing closely with C-Suite stakeholders to provide updates and progress reports.
