Software Engineers assemble! I am on the lookout for Senior to Lead level Engineers for a client of mine in the world of Consultancies with a focus on delivering Digital & Wireless solutions to Government clients and so much more!

Through growth, they are looking to add a new pod to their boutique consultancy where you will sit amongst a team of 4-6 (depending on the project) with a focus on team work and collaboration.

This isn't a role for lone wolfs. Regardless of Seniority, you must be willing to learn and grow whether that is a new perspective from a Junior or advice and knowledge from a manager. This is an environment where everyone's opinions are listened to and considered and attitude plays a big part in being a success in this role.

If you are, however, a team player, coachable, always looking to learn more, see new ways of thinking and always happy to share your own knowledge and experiences in an environment that will uplift you and your ideas then this is for you!

The types of people who flourish within my client come with a deep understanding of a variety of technologies across the full SDLC (DevOps, Coding, Testing, Cloud etc.), an appreciation for and love for coaching, skills beyond just coding (driving architectural decisions, software cadence, delivery structure etc), a team focussed attitude to project delivery and an approach to their own career of continuous improvement. No bad apples/know-it-all's!

Generally speaking, the projects they complete fall within React, TypeScript and Node so an appreciation of Modern JS technologies across the Fullstack is key however, being consultancy work, this does sometimes vary and as such, the tech you bring to the table isn't the key deciding factor in who they hire, but more your ability to demonstrate an ability to pick up and run with skills both inside and outside the main stack whilst bring those must have soft skills.

The client are based in Reading with the role being fully remote. They do regularly get together's from a cultural standpoint with recent days out Go-Karting and enjoying AR/VR Gaming experiences (all paid for)!

The role can pay up to £90,000 per annum (DOE), with weekly training available and monthly performance reviews on your contributions and ability so that you are promoted as soon as it's the right time. No glass ceilings, if you're ready then they will trust you!
